Since 2012
Holy Grail Amps was born from the passion of electronic engineer Pablo Sánchez for vintage amplifiers from the 1950s and 60s.
After more than twenty years dedicated to repairing tube amplifiers, working for various musical instrument shops in Seville, he decided in 2012 to put all his accumulated knowledge into practice by starting to manufacture his own tube-driven effects pedals. It was at this point that the Royal Tube model was created.
After a few years focused on pedal design and development, he began building his first Tweed amplifiers—and that’s when the storm broke… The process of crafting the cabinet, covering it, and finishing it with lacquer proved so beautiful and artisanal that it added a whole new dimension to the project, creating a truly addictive effect. The cabinet became the perfect complement to the meticulous electronic work that this type of amplifier requires, representing a constant pursuit of perfection that makes each unit unique.
Up to today...
Vintage amplifiers are highly sought-after collector’s items with extremely high prices on the second-hand market, and their modern reissues—often lacking historical accuracy—make them even more desirable and inaccessible.
Holy Grail’s mission is to “democratize” the experience of enjoying these gems, which are part of history, without the need to travel back in time—offering a level of build quality that ensures durability and a long future.
